Saw you in Santa Cruz, and you were really something. You were there with two fantatic soloists, and yet you held your own and then some. What is that thing you sit on and beat like a drumb?
It was great hanging with you last night. Cool web site, man!
Very interesting. We are musical Sillimans's from Asheville NC...They our fair city the San Francisco of the east as we are a very eclectic city. Let us know if you are ever touring in our area
Chris
i love the site
Hi David:
It has been a long, long time since I've seen you. I remember squishing pincerbugs in your backyard when we were kids, about 6 or 7. You are 1 day short of 1 year older than I am. Back then I thought being a boy would so cool because I wanted to be just like you. Until, that is, my sister and yours tricked me into saying that I wanted you to be my boyfriend. They ran to tell you and you never wanted to squish bugs with me again. So sad.
Well, I'm glad you kept up the drumming! I remember hearing the sounds coming from your house on the corner often. I don't think anyone in the neighborhood was sorry, we all knew you were good, even back then!
Best to you and your family.
Nancy
Man, youre the man!! I cant get over your awsome talent. Looking forward to someday seeing you and meeting you in L.A Cali.

Hello. I am a non-professional drummer and percussionist from Germany. I saw your videos on congahead.com and I wondered what this golden metal-spiral is. I really love its sound and I'd like to add it to my setup, but I could not find out, what it is called and where to get it. I checked LP's site, but I found nothing similar. Can you tell me its name and which company produces such instruments? Thanks. Sebastian
Hello: Small world. I was just at Saundra’s sight and saw your comment to her. You’re not going to believe this but I have a son named David G. Silliman who is in college to be a vet. I also have a daughter who is in Turkey with her husband. I’m from upstate NY, but now live in NC. Good luck with all the tunes. Roger
Thank you for my picture in your web site!
A big surprise...
In July I was in Perugia too.
Great music again.
Compliments.
See you.

Hi Dave,
It has been a long time since we saw each other. I think the last time was when you played at Carnegie Hall back around 1980. Remember the great times we had in the late 1970's? Next time I'm in New York I'll make it a point to come to one of your gigs.
I don’t see any west coast tours scheduled on your calendar. I hope all is well with you. Let me know how you are doing.
Regards,
Jim
Greetings from Vegas!

It is sad that I live too far away from the city, but I always try to go to see the Trio.
Take care Dave.
It was great to see and hear you today!
